Summary
Frogtown Penchant is a Super Tuscan Blend (our third Super Tuscan Blend) comprised of Sangiovese and Merlot (Penchant on occasions can also contain relatively small amounts of Tannat in its blend). This medium bodied wine exhibits considerable amounts of ripe cherry and red fruit flavors on the palate. Penchant is the lightest of our Super Tuscan Blends. Parings of Penchant are similar to our varietal Sangiovese wines which include most pasta dishes, veal, and chicken. Think of Penchant as a little more complex than our Sangiovese varietal wines.
